N° 01The standard
Five checks every page has to pass
A coloring page is defined by what it leaves out, and that is exactly what nobody checks. Across forty pages, nobody reviews honestly by eye — so we measure instead, and a page that fails is redrawn or dropped. It never quietly fills a page count.

Solid fill
Filled black shapes are the one area nobody can colour. We isolate them by shrinking every dark shape: a line disappears, a filled area survives. Total ink cannot tell those apart — this can.

Closed shapes
Open outlines are the single most common complaint in this category, because the colour runs straight out of the drawing. We count the fully enclosed regions on every page.

No shading
Real line art is black or white and almost nothing between. Soft shading looks fine on screen and prints as grey mud. Measured, so it cannot slip through.

Trim safety
Ink inside the cut margin is lost at the guillotine and rejected by KDP. Checked on every page, and the paperback build carries a proper gutter so nothing vanishes into the spine.

Easiest first
“Too intricate, too hard to start” is the review that sinks a coloring book. Pages are ordered by measured complexity, so the book opens somewhere a buyer will actually begin.

Brief, sample pages, then the book
You tell us the audience, the theme and where it will be printed. We write the page list first and send it with sample pages, so the style and the difficulty ladder are approved before forty pages exist.
Then the run: every page measured as it is made, the failures redrawn, the set assembled into A4, US Letter and KDP-spec PDFs. Ask for the single-sided build and each page gets a blank reverse so markers cannot bleed through.
Nothing is drawn from a trademarked character or brand — every subject is screened before it reaches the page. Full rights transfer to you on delivery.

- What exactly do I get?
- Print-ready PDFs: A4 and US Letter for digital download, plus an 8.5×11 build with the correct gutter for a KDP paperback. Vector line art wherever the style allows, so it stays crisp at any trim. Numbered books include a printed colour key page.
- How can you check quality across forty pages?
- By measuring rather than looking. Solid black fill, mid-tone shading, enclosed region count and ink in the trim keep-out are checked on every single page. A page that fails is redrawn or dropped — it never fills a page count.
- Do the books include a colour guide?
- Numbered books do, because without a key the numbers mean nothing. For ordinary coloring books we leave it out on purpose — it is a page of your book spent on something almost nobody is looking for, and the space is better used on another drawing.
- Will markers bleed through?
- Not on the single-sided build — every page gets a blank reverse. It is the most requested feature in this category and it is included free on request.
- Can you copy a character or a popular book?
- No, and we screen for it. Every subject is checked against a block list of trademarked names and third-party characters before it is drawn. It is the fastest way to lose a listing.
- How long does a full interior take?
- Usually two to three weeks: a few days for the page list and samples, then the run and the measured pass. Catalogue runs are scheduled title by title.
- Who owns it?
- You do, completely, on delivery. Sell it, reprint it, licence it — the rights travel with the files.
