Each design is illustrated in the medium that suits the subject — a watercolor wash for the lake, carved linocut for a stone-arcaded city, flat poster art for a peak that already looks like a poster. Every one keeps a large calm area so your message has somewhere to sit.

Loose watercolor and ink over the covered wooden bridge and the Reuss, in dusty blue and soft grey.
Travel poster — Jungfrau
Flat mid-century poster art in glacier white, deep alpine blue and slate, with a clean sky band for the message.
Linocut — Bern Old Town
A two-color block print of the Zytglogge clock tower and the arcaded streets, in slate-green ink with rust accents.
Colored pencil — Zermatt Village
Chalets under snow in deep green, warm brown and lantern gold, with the pencil grain left visible.

What size are the Swiss postcards?
6x4 inches — the US standard postcard size — at 300 DPI. You get a print-ready, watermark-free 2-page PDF: page one is the illustrated front, page two is a classic writing side with address lines and a stamp box.
Can I print them at home or at a print shop?
Both. The PDF is yours to keep and print as many times as you like — a home printer on card stock works, and any print shop can run the file at full 300 DPI. Nothing is watermarked once you've paid.
Can I write my own message on the front?
That's the whole point. Type your message, choose the font, color and text size, and drag it anywhere on the artwork. Every design keeps one large calm area — open sky, still water — so your words sit in the picture instead of on top of it.

Are these photographs of Switzerland?
No. Every front is original artwork illustrated by our studio — watercolor, colored pencil, flat vector, linocut and travel-poster styles. That's the difference from the photo postcards in every souvenir rack: nobody else is sending the same card.
