A studio service
BIO International Convention decks for a room from everywhere.
Next: 7–10 June 2027, Philadelphia. The largest partnering event in the sector, and the most international. The meeting format is the familiar short scheduled slot; what changes is who is across the table — a regional licensee, a trade delegation, a large-pharma scout — and how much context each needs before your asset makes sense to them.

N° 01What changes at BIO
Same format, a much wider room.
01
Counterparties from markets you have not sold into
A licensee in another territory does not carry your local context. The deck has to make the indication, the standard of care and the unmet need legible to someone whose market looks different — without turning into a tutorial for everyone else.
02
Territory deals, not only global ones
A meaningful share of the conversations are regional rights rather than a worldwide licence. If the deck only frames a global deal, it quietly rules out the counterparty in front of you.
03
Scheduled, short, back to back
Ten to twelve slides, an appendix you can reach in a click, and a structure that survives being entered at slide seven because that is what they asked about first.
04
Still non-confidential
Most first meetings precede a CDA. The deck argues from validated mechanism, disclosable data and development stage, and is designed around the things that cannot be shown.
N° 02What we build
The set that gets you through the week.
01
The partnering deck
Ten to twelve slides: asset, mechanism, stage, data, IP position, and a specific ask. Navigable out of order, because half the meetings will not follow it.
02
The non-confidential one-pager
The leave-behind that gets forwarded internally after you have left the room. Designed as a companion to the deck, not a shrunken copy.
03
The appendix
Additional programmes, manufacturing, the detailed IP timeline. Indexed rather than sequential, so a good question gets a fast answer.

Questions
The answers we give most often.
- How is this different from BIO-Europe?
- Scale and international mix — more regional licensing, more delegations, more counterparties from markets you have not sold into. The meeting format is the same, so a deck built for one travels; what changes is how much context the room needs.
- How many slides for a BIO One-on-One?
- Ten to twelve. The meeting is a conversation, not a lecture, and anything beyond that belongs in an appendix you can reach when asked.
- Do we need a different deck per counterparty?
- Not a different deck — one that can be entered at different points. Pharma BD, a regional licensee and a fund open with different questions; the structure should answer any of them first.
- Can the deck stay non-confidential?
- It has to. Most first meetings precede a CDA, so it argues from validated mechanism, disclosable data and stage. Designing around what cannot be shown is most of the work.
- What do we hand over at the end?
- A non-confidential one-pager. It is read without you there and forwarded to people who were not in the room — often the most consequential document of the week.
- Do you also do BIO-Europe and JPM?
- Yes. Built once, cut for each — cheaper and more consistent than commissioning three separate decks.
