Privacy policy.

This privacy policy applies to designkompanie.com and to the tools we operate for our own studio. We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only where it is needed to provide our services. Specifically:

Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message. We use these only to answer your enquiry and never share them without your consent.
Project data: when you commission work, we receive the materials you send us — manuscripts, photos, names and details needed for the illustration. They are used solely to produce your commission and are deleted after the project on request, or archived for reprints.
Server logs: IP address, page requested, timestamp and browser type, kept for at most 30 days for security and error analysis.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies and no analytics tools such as Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel. Technically necessary cookies (for example, for the contact form) are set only during active use.

4. Our social media publishing tools

We operate internal software that publishes content from our studio to our own social media pages (for example, our Facebook Page) via the platforms' official APIs. These tools access only our own accounts and pages. They do not collect, store or process any data about visitors to this website, followers of our pages, or any other third parties.

5. External service providers

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Emails are processed by our email provider. Where providers process data outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, they are contractually bound to an adequate level of data protection.

6. Your rights

You may at any time request information about the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@designkompanie.com — see also our data deletion instructions. We answer within 30 days.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The current version is always published on this page. Last updated: August 2026.
