Watercolor coloring books
A studio service
Drawn for watercolor. Not against it.
Thick, confident outlines. Regions wide enough for a loaded brush. Single-sided so wet paint never bleeds through. Every page in this collection was designed with wet media in mind from the first line.
N° 01The difference
Most pages fight wet media. Ours don't.
Standard coloring books — even expensive ones — are designed for coloured pencils. The outlines are thin, the regions are cramped, and the paper spec assumes dry media. The moment you introduce water, the lines lift, the paper warps, and the result looks nothing like it should.
Every page in this collection is built around how watercolor actually behaves: thick outlines that survive moisture, wide regions that can hold a wash without getting muddy, and a single-sided layout that means your wet pages never press against the next one.
01
Thick, confident outlines
Lines are drawn at 1.5–2× the weight of standard coloring pages. They survive wet washes without lifting, bleeding into the painted area, or disappearing under the colour.
02
Open wash regions
Every colorable region is sized for a loaded brush, not a pencil tip. No cramped corridors where a round brush can't fit. Wet-on-wet blending works naturally inside each region.
03
Single-sided layout
All pages print single-sided. Wet paint never presses against the next page while drying. You can also mount pages on watercolor board before painting without losing anything.
04
Fully enclosed shapes
Every region has a closed border. Wet washes stay inside the lines the way they should — no gaps for paint to escape through.
N° 02Collections
Botanical, fauna, and abstract.
Three collections, each suited to a different watercolor mood. All share the same thick-outline, wet-media-friendly specification.
01
Botanical florals
Roses, peonies, wildflowers, foliage — drawn with enough botanical accuracy to reward careful painting but open enough for expressive washes. The most popular collection in the range.
02
Birds & fauna
Herons, owls, songbirds, butterflies — detailed feather and wing patterns that reward wet layering and granulation effects. Beautiful subjects for wet-on-wet background washes.
03
Abstract & geometric
Mandalas and abstract flowing patterns designed for pure colour exploration. No 'right' palette. Great for practising wet-on-wet and colour mixing without worrying about depicting a subject accurately.

N° 05Questions
The answers we give most often.
- What paper weight should I print on for watercolor?
- For light washes (dry-brush, minimal water), 90–120 gsm paper works fine. For proper wet-on-wet watercolor painting, print on 200–300 gsm cold-press watercolor paper using a laser printer or print shop. Most home inkjets can handle up to 160 gsm.
- Can I use these pages with markers or coloured pencils?
- Yes — the thick outlines and closed regions work well with any medium. Watercolor is what these pages are optimised for, but markers, brush pens, and coloured pencils all work well.
- Are these suitable for beginners?
- Yes. The botanical collection in particular is popular with people who are new to watercolor. The thick outlines make it easy to stay within regions, and the open shapes give room to experiment with wet-on-wet and basic wash techniques.
- Can I sell coloring books using these pages?
- The Sampler and Collection tiers include a personal use licence. The Bundle tier includes a commercial licence suitable for Etsy and Amazon KDP. If you need a commercial licence on a smaller pack, contact us — it's a small add-on.
- Do I need any special software to open the PDF?
- Any PDF reader works — Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), Preview on Mac, or the built-in viewer on Windows. Just open and print.
