Bold, defensive register. The varsity / academic / brewery emblem tradition (without the brewery part).

Softer, more horizontal. The traditional embroidery-patch shape — cleaner for chest application.

Banner + circle
Round central emblem with a banner ribbon for date, region or motto. The classic heritage stamp.

Hierarchy inside the boundary. Not a logo with a frame.
Real emblems have three layers — perimeter type, central icon, and a smaller accent or date. Each layer earns its place. Lazy emblems just put a wordmark inside a circle and call it heritage.

- Circle/round covers the whole shape category — app icons, stamps, seals. Emblem is specifically the heritage-badge tradition with multi-layer composition.
- Will it embroider cleanly?

- Can you do military or first-responder style?
- Yes — heritage-badge tradition runs across police, fire, military, scouting and varsity. We work in any of those registers.
- What about a more contemporary 'modern emblem' feel?
