A studio service

Google Ads run through the API, not the dashboard.

Most accounts are managed by someone clicking around the Google Ads interface once a week. We build and run search campaigns through the Google Ads API instead — so an account with 3,000 tightly themed ad groups, each with its own rotating copy test, costs about the same to maintain as a lazy one with thirty. You pay a flat management fee. Media stays on your own card.

N° 01Why API-run

Granular structure without the labour cost.

The accounts that win local search are the ones where every ad is written for exactly the query it answers — the provider's name, the service in that suburb, the insurance question. That structure is expensive to build and tedious to keep honest by hand, so most agencies collapse it into a few broad ad groups and let Google's automation fill the gap.

We generate the structure from a spreadsheet — one row per entity you want to be found for — and push it through the Google Ads API. Ad groups, keywords in the match types we chose, negatives, ad copy, sitelinks, location assets, all created and updated programmatically. Every change is logged, so you can see who changed what and why.

01

Entity-level ad groups

One ad group per provider, service, location or product — whichever entity your customers actually search for. Copy written for that entity, landing page matched to it.

02

Scheduled ad-copy tests

Two or three responsive search ads per ad group, rotated evenly, evaluated on a fixed schedule with a minimum sample. Losers paused, winners cloned, next variant queued.

03

Negative-keyword mining

Search-term reports pulled weekly through the API, classified, and pushed back as negatives — the single biggest waste-cutter in any local account.

04

Conversion tracking that holds up

Calls, form fills, and bookings tracked with per-campaign static numbers and server-side events. Offline conversions (booked, showed, became a customer) imported back so bidding learns from revenue, not clicks.

05

Bid strategy by intent

Brand and name searches on manual or target-impression-share bids to defend cheaply; non-brand on target CPA once there is enough conversion data to trust it.

06

Auditable reporting

A Looker Studio report you own, fed from the API — spend, cost per lead, search-term quality, and what tests won this month. No screenshots, no PDF theatre.

N° 02How it runs

Build, test, then keep testing.

Weeks one and two are setup: conversion tracking, the entity sheet, landing-page checks, and the first campaign build pushed through the API. Weeks three to six are calibration — negatives, bid floors, the first round of ad tests reaching sample size.

From then on the account runs on a cadence: search-term review weekly, ad-test evaluation every two to four weeks depending on volume, budget reallocation monthly, and a plain-language report with a call. When something changes on your side — a new provider, a new location, a new offer — it is a row in the sheet, not a rebuild.

Investment

Clear scope. Clear price.

Flat management fees, quoted against account size — never a share of spend. Media is billed by the platform to your own card, so the number you see is the whole number.

Management fees are flat and quoted against account size, not a percentage of spend — so we have no reason to push your budget up. Media is billed by Google to your own payment method. Typical local search budgets run $1,500–$8,000 a month; we'll tell you what your market needs before you commit.

How every package works

  1. One package covers one business and one ad account per network. A second brand or a second account is a second package.
  2. Ad spend is never inside the fee. Google and Microsoft bill your card directly; you can see it in your own billing at any time.
  3. The caps on each card are the scope. Going past a cap (more offices, providers, ad groups, hours, pages) is priced on the card or quoted before we do it; it is never silently absorbed.
  4. Structure-change hours cover requests you send us: new offers, new services, budget shifts, pauses. Routine optimisation we do on our own cadence does not count against them.
  5. Response time is for replies and pauses. New campaign builds and page work run on the delivery times shown, not on the response time.
  6. Month-to-month, 30 days' written notice either way. No setup fee is refunded once the build is delivered.
  7. You own the account, the data, and everything we build in it. We hold manager access and remove it on the last day.
  8. We do not answer your phones, book appointments, manage reviews, run social media, or write blog content. If you need those, we can point you to someone who does.
  9. Nothing here guarantees a number of leads, patients, or a cost per lead. What we guarantee is the work on the card, on the schedule on the card.
  10. Anything not written on the card is not in the package. If you are unsure whether something is included, ask before you buy; the answer is the same afterwards.

Questions

The answers we give most often.

What does 'run through the API' actually change for me?
Two things. Structure: we can afford to give every provider, service, and location its own ad group and copy, because generating and updating that is scripted rather than clicked. Discipline: ad tests run on a schedule with a minimum sample, negatives are mined weekly, and every change is logged. It is the same Google Ads account — you keep full ownership and can see everything in the normal interface.
Is the ad spend included in the fee?
No, and it never is. Google bills media to your card; we invoice a flat management fee. You can see exactly what was spent on ads in your own Google Ads billing at any time.
Do you use Performance Max or broad match with smart bidding?
Where it earns its place. For local lead generation we start with tightly themed search campaigns on phrase and exact match, because that is where we can read what is working. Broad match and Performance Max get tested as separate campaigns with their own budget once there is enough conversion data to judge them, not switched on by default.
How do you test ad copy?
Two or three responsive search ads per ad group, ad rotation set to even, a fixed evaluation window and a minimum click count before any decision. We also read Google's asset-level reports to see which individual headlines carry the ad. Losing variants are paused, winners cloned, and the next hypothesis queued — so testing never stops, it just changes what is being tested.
We already have an account. Do you rebuild it?
Usually not from scratch. We audit it first, keep the history that is helping your Quality Scores, and restructure around it. Where an account is genuinely broken, we say so and quote a rebuild.
What access do you need?
Manager-account access to your Google Ads account, admin on your Google Analytics or tag setup, and edit access to the landing pages if we're fixing tracking. You stay the owner of everything.
