N° 15 — Friendship

Children's book about friendship..

Friendship is one of the largest themes in children's literature — and one of the most often mishandled. The best friendship books aren't about perfect harmony; they're about fighting and reconciling, about being different and staying close, about the ordinary weight of caring for another person.

Real friendship isn't always easy.

Children's book about friendship

N° 01What a friendship book can do

Beyond getting along.

Weak friendship books show two characters who always agree, always have fun, never fight. Children notice this is not how friendship actually works. The books that stick are the ones willing to engage with the real complications: jealousy, being left out, misunderstandings, starting over.

For children between three and eight, friendship books are often the first place where social dynamics become visible on the page. A good book helps the child understand: "What I'm feeling in my classroom right now has a name, it's not only happening to me, and it can be lived through."

N° 03Questions

The answers we give most often.

Can both children be on the cover?
Absolutely — that's often the whole idea. Both names on the cover, both as main characters on every page. The book belongs equally to both children.
What if only one child has access to the book?
We print multiple copies — usually one for each family involved. The book becomes shared property even when the children don't live in the same place anymore.
Does this work for siblings?
Yes, very well. Sibling books are one of our most common requests. The dynamic between siblings — playing together, fighting, protecting each other — is richer than most pure friendship narratives.
Can we include a pet?
Yes. Many children see their pet as their best friend — and a book about that relationship is often emotionally the strongest project. The dog, the cat, even the hamster becomes a main character.
