Most personalized books have room for one hero. Twins, triplets, siblings and cousins get shoehorned in or left out. We write and illustrate for however many children there are: every one drawn from photos, every one named throughout, every one the hero of the same story. One copy for each of them.

One hero slot, two children.
A template personalized book has a single name field and a single character. For twins that means either two books that pretend the other twin does not exist, or one book where one child is the star and the other appears in the background. Both get noticed, by the children most of all.
We do not use a single-hero template. The story is written for the number of children you have, and each child is drawn from their own photos and named on every spread, with equal weight. Identical twins are told apart in the pictures the same way the family tells them apart.

- Why don't most personalized books work for twins?
- They are built around one name and one face. We write and draw for however many children there are.
- How many children can be in one book?
- Up to six named children from photos. Beyond that it becomes a custom book.
- Can identical twins be told apart?
- Yes. We use whatever the family uses, a colour or a clip or glasses, and keep it consistent.
- Does each child get a copy?
- Yes, one per named child is included.
- How long does it take?
- Three weeks for a template story, six to eight for a custom one.
