Anyone who has loved a dog or cat knows that stock clip art fails immediately. It has the wrong snout length, misses the white paw, or gives a mixed-breed rescue dog the body of a show dog.
We treat the animal's distinguishing features as the core contract: the speckled belly, the floppy left ear, the grey muzzle, or the crooked tail tip.
Before a single spread is drawn, we build a character model sheet: front view, profile, head studies, and gait. You sign off on the character sheet, so you know the animal on page 16 is recognisably yours.
