A studio service

Sticker book design, scenes and sheets together.

A sticker book is two products bound as one: scene pages that leave room for stickers, and sticker sheets cut to fit them. We illustrate both as one set, so every sticker has a place to go and every scene looks finished once the stickers are on.

N° 01What goes in the book

Scenes and stickers, drawn as one set.

01

Scene pages

Backgrounds composed with open areas where stickers belong: an empty pond for the ducks, a bare shelf for the toys.

02

Sticker sheets

Each sticker drawn as its own object with a white border and a cut line, grouped by the scene it belongs to.

03

Placement prompts

Short prompts on the page (find a home for the cat) or outlined shapes for younger children who need a target.

04

Reusable or permanent

Reusable books need glossy scene pages and cling or low-tack stickers. Permanent books print on standard paper. We design for the one you choose.

05

Sticker-by-number and puzzles

Numbered shapes, matching and counting pages that use the stickers as the answer.

06

Cover and back sheet

Cover illustration, title design and a back cover that shows what is inside, including the sticker count.

N° 02The part that goes wrong

Stickers are a print job, not a page.

Most sticker book problems come from treating sticker sheets like ordinary pages.

01

Cut lines

Every sticker needs a kiss-cut line on its own layer, with enough clearance that the blade never touches the artwork.

02

Size against the scene

A sticker drawn at the wrong scale will not fit the space left for it. We size stickers and scenes together from the start.

03

The printer decides the format

Amazon KDP prints paperbacks and hardcovers only, so a book with real sticker sheets goes to a specialist printer. We set the files to that printer's template.

04

Small parts

Books for children under three raise safety questions about small stickers. Your printer or testing lab advises on the rules for your market; we design to what they require.

N° 03How it runs

Plan first, artwork after.

01

1. Page plan

We agree the theme, the age band, the number of scenes and the number of stickers, and whether the book is reusable.

02

2. Sample pages

Two or three finished pages in the agreed look, so you approve the style and the difficulty before the rest is made.

03

3. Full interior

Every page produced to the plan, with answers or instructions where the format needs them, then one consolidated round of changes.

04

4. Cover and files

Cover design, front matter and print-ready files at your trim size, set to your printer's or platform's template.

N° 05Questions

The answers we give most often.

Can a sticker book be printed through Amazon KDP?
Not with real sticker sheets. KDP prints paperbacks and hardcovers on standard paper. Sticker books are printed by a specialist printer that can kiss-cut the sheets, and we prepare the files to that printer's template.
How many stickers should a sticker book have?
It depends on the age band and page count. We plan the number with you so every scene has enough to do without leaving unused stickers. The count goes on the cover, so it is agreed before artwork starts.
What is the difference between reusable and permanent stickers?
Reusable stickers peel off glossy scene pages and can be moved. Permanent stickers stick once to ordinary paper. The choice changes the paper, the sticker material and the price your printer quotes, so decide it first.
Do you supply the cut lines?
Yes. Each sticker sheet is delivered with its artwork and a separate cut-line layer, which is what a sticker printer asks for.
Do I own the artwork?
Yes. The scenes, stickers and files are yours for any edition and territory. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
