A studio service
Robotic arms and kinematics, rigged to real joint limits.
Industrial robotics, articulated arms, SCARA and factory automation machinery modelled and rigged in Blender. Forward and inverse kinematics (FK/IK) built to manufacturer specifications, with exact angular rotation limits and documented axis controls.
$500 to test · $3,000 to rig · $6,000 to build from blueprints

N° 01Engineering fidelity
Kinematics that match the factory floor
A generic 3D arm bends wherever an animator drags it. An industrial robot cannot: each axis has physical rotation limits, gear reduction constraints, and reach envelopes that must be respected.
We build rigs from your actual engineering specifications or CAD data. Rotation axes and joint limits are locked, preventing impossible motions and ensuring visual simulations match real-world physical behavior.
01
Inverse kinematics with joint limits
End-effector target drives the entire kinematic chain, with each axis bounded by its physical angular range.
02
Pneumatic & gripper actuation
Parallel jaws, suction cups, and tool changers rigged on independent controls for pick-and-place animation.
03
Delivered as a production asset
Handed over with a complete control guide detailing each axis driver, rotational limit, and kinematic toggle.
N° 02Applications
Digital twins, presentations, and trade show films
Built for robotics OEMs, automation integrators, and engineering firms who need to showcase machinery before or during physical commissioning. The asset behaves exactly as the real assembly does.

What it costs
Rig test
$500
One assembly rigged on a model you supply — a suspension corner, a door, a mechanism — returned in your own file.
- One assembly of your choosing, rigged
- Controls, limits and constraints as in the full job
- A written assessment of whether the rest is riggable
- Your own file back, not a copy
- About a week
Rigging only
$3,000
You supply the model. We rig it: controls, constraints, working mechanism.
- Full mechanical rig
- Controls for wheels, steering, doors and panels
- Suspension and internal moving parts
- Control scheme documented
- About one month from a usable model
Modelled and rigged
$6,000
Built from manufacturer blueprints, then rigged. The internals are modelled as components — which is where both the accuracy and the timeline come from.
- Modelled from manufacturer blueprints
- Internal components built, not implied
- Full mechanical rig on top
- Control scheme documented
- Six to twelve months, depending on the subject
N° 04Questions
The answers we give most often.
- Can you work directly from CAD (STEP/IGES) files?
- Yes. Most robotics projects start from STEP, IGES or Parasolid files. We clean up and retopologize the CAD tessellation into clean quad geometry and set precise rotational axes for every joint.
- Do you configure both IK and FK?
- Yes. Rigs include inverse kinematics (IK) for positioning the end-effector and forward kinematics (FK) for exact individual axis angle adjustments, with clean switching between the two.
- Do you do character rigging?
- No. Hard-surface, robotics, and mechanical assemblies only.

Send your CAD or robotics specification.
Tell us what the mechanism is and what movements it requires. You get back the route, the timeline, and a fixed price.
Both full figures are per vehicle. The gap between a month and a year is the difference between rigging something that exists and building it from drawings first. Send what you have and we will tell you which one you are asking for.
The vehicles shown are demonstration builds made in-house to show the craft — not client commissions. Each was modelled and rigged from manufacturer blueprints.
