A studio service

Show the machine actually working.

If you make something mechanical — a vehicle, an aircraft, rolling stock, a machine — we build it in 3D from your drawings and rig the mechanism to move as the real assembly does. You receive the asset itself, ready for your team or agency to present with. If you have nobody to do that, we can animate it separately.

$500 to test · $3,000 to rig · $6,000 to build from blueprints

Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series 3D build with doors open, showing interior and door mechanism — demonstration build

N° 01Who this is for

You've built something, and now you have to explain it

A board, an investor, a distributor or a customer has to understand a machine they cannot stand next to. Photographs show the outside. A drawing shows the engineering, but only to someone trained to read it. A model that opens, moves and comes apart shows both, to anyone.

Most clients take the model from there: whoever makes the film, the deck or the stand graphics works from something dimensionally correct rather than an approximation. If you have nobody to hand it to, we can carry it through to animation ourselves.

01

Built from your drawings

Engineering drawings rather than photographs, so the geometry is right and the internals are real components.

02

It moves correctly

Travel, rotation, opening and compression driven by constraints, behaving as the real assembly does.

03

Cutaways and exploded views

Built from real parts rather than a shell, so it can be opened, sectioned or exploded to show the inside.

N° 02Where we sit

A small studio, said plainly

We are two people, and one of them builds these. If you already have a visualisation supplier, we are more likely useful alongside them than instead of them.

A machine built properly from drawings takes six months to a year. If your deadline is shorter and you have no model, we are the wrong studio for that deadline. Better said now than in month four.

N° 03Investment

What it costs

Rig test

$500

One assembly rigged on a model you supply — a suspension corner, a door, a mechanism — returned in your own file.

  • One assembly of your choosing, rigged
  • Controls, limits and constraints as in the full job
  • A written assessment of whether the rest is riggable
  • Your own file back, not a copy
  • About a week
Start with a test

Rigging only

$3,000

You supply the model. We rig it: controls, constraints, working mechanism.

  • Full mechanical rig
  • Controls for wheels, steering, doors and panels
  • Suspension and internal moving parts
  • Control scheme documented
  • About one month from a usable model

The full build

Modelled and rigged

$6,000

Built from manufacturer blueprints, then rigged. The internals are modelled as components — which is where both the accuracy and the timeline come from.

  • Modelled from manufacturer blueprints
  • Internal components built, not implied
  • Full mechanical rig on top
  • Control scheme documented
  • Six to twelve months, depending on the subject

N° 04Questions

The answers we give most often.

Do you produce the animation, or only the model?
Either. The prices here cover the model and the rig, which is what most clients want — their own animator or agency drives it from there. If you have nobody to hand it to, we can animate. Quoted separately, since the cost depends on the shot.
Have you done this for a manufacturer?
Not yet. What exists is a set of vehicles built and rigged from blueprints. That is the evidence we have — judge it on that.
What do you need from us?
Engineering drawings — they are what make the result accurate rather than approximate. If you already have a 3D model we rig that instead, which is much faster.
Can you show the inside?
Yes. Because the internals are modelled as real parts rather than implied, the machine can be opened, sectioned or exploded to explain how it works.
How long does it take?
About a month if you supply a usable model. Six months to a year if we build it from drawings. We do not shorten those to win the work.

Send the drawings and the deadline.

You get the route, the timeline, a fixed price — and a straight answer on whether we are the right studio for your date.

Both full figures are per vehicle. The gap between a month and a year is the difference between rigging something that exists and building it from drawings first. Send what you have and we will tell you which one you are asking for.

The vehicles shown are demonstration builds made in-house to show the craft — not client commissions. Each was modelled and rigged from manufacturer blueprints.
