Ecommerce app development

A studio service

Commerce beyond the platform.

When Shopify's template hits its ceiling, a custom ecommerce build unlocks the pricing logic, B2B workflows, and conversion UX your business actually needs. Fixed-scope, design-led.

N° 01When platforms aren't enough

Beyond the template. Custom commerce

Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce cover the standard ecommerce playbook well. The moment your business logic exceeds what a theme and a plugin combination can support, a custom build pays for itself in months — not years.

Common triggers: a pricing model that doesn't fit product variants (subscriptions, bundles, dynamic pricing), a fulfilment workflow the platform can't automate, a B2B customer portal that needs account-level pricing, or a storefront that needs to feel like a brand rather than a marketplace listing.

N° 02What we build

Commerce that converts

01

Headless Storefronts

Shopify or a custom backend powering a Next.js frontend — fast, brand-first, and unconstrained by theme architecture. Same checkout infrastructure, better everything else.

02

Custom Checkout

Multi-step checkout with custom logic: subscription upsells, bundle builders, dynamic shipping rules, B2B account pricing. Built to your conversion funnel, not Shopify's defaults.

03

B2B Portals

Account-level pricing, purchase order workflows, net terms, approval chains, and the quote-to-order process that B2B buyers expect.

04

Marketplace Platforms

Multi-vendor platforms, seller dashboards, commission calculation, and the payout infrastructure that holds a two-sided market together.

N° 03Integrations

The stack that holds it together

Ecommerce projects live or die by their integration layer. Every project includes mapping of your existing stack in discovery: ERP, WMS, 3PL, shipping carriers, payment processors, loyalty platforms, review tools.

We build integrations properly — not webhooks duct-taped together, but resilient event-driven pipelines with retry logic, dead-letter queues, and the monitoring that tells you when something breaks before your customers do.

Common integrations: Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Klarna, ShipStation, EasyPost, NetSuite, Brightpearl, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Gorgias.

N° 04Performance

Fast enough to convert

Every 100ms of page load costs conversion. We build for Core Web Vitals from the first line: server-side rendering, edge caching, image optimisation, and a bundle size that doesn't assume a fibre connection.

Mobile-first, always. More than 70% of ecommerce traffic is mobile. We design and test on real devices, not browser dev tools.

Questions

The answers we give most often.

Should I go headless or fully custom?
Headless (Next.js frontend + Shopify backend) is the right choice for most brands who want design freedom without re-building commerce infrastructure. Fully custom makes sense when your pricing model, fulfilment logic, or B2B requirements are too complex for any platform's API.
Can you migrate us from Shopify/WooCommerce?
Yes. Data migration (products, customers, orders, reviews) is a defined deliverable in the project scope. We don't go live until every piece of data has a verified home in the new system.
How long does a headless storefront take?
A headless Shopify storefront typically runs eight to twelve weeks. A fully custom ecommerce platform with marketplace functionality runs sixteen to twenty-four weeks.
What does it cost?
Headless storefronts start at $24,000. Custom ecommerce platforms with B2B or marketplace functionality start at $60,000. Fixed-scope proposals issued after a discovery conversation.
Do you handle payment processor integration?
Yes — Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Klarna, and Afterpay/Clearpay are all in our integration library. We handle PCI-compliant implementation; you don't touch cardholder data.
Will the platform handle peak traffic?
Yes. We load-test before launch and configure autoscaling infrastructure. If you have a known peak event (Black Friday, product launch), tell us in discovery and we'll provision accordingly.
How do we start?
Use the contact form with a brief description of your current platform, what it can't do, and your timeline. We'll respond within two business days.
