Startup app development

A studio service

MVP to v1. Scoped to validate.

We build the core loop first — the minimum surface that proves the thesis to users and investors. Fixed scope, eight-to-twelve-week delivery, codebase structured to extend not rewrite.

N° 01What startups need

Validate the thesis. Ship the MVP

Most startup development projects fail for the same reason: scope creep before the first user has logged in. We scope the MVP to the minimum surface that proves the core hypothesis — no more, no less.

What investors and early users need to see is working software with the core loop intact. Everything else is a distraction until you've seen retention data. We build the core loop first, the infrastructure to support it, and the clarity to know when to stop.

N° 02MVP to v1

Two stages, one studio

01

MVP — from $24,000

Core user flow, one integration, deployable product. Eight to twelve weeks. Proves the thesis to users, investors, or both. Codebase structured to extend, not to rewrite.

02

v1 — from $60,000

Full feature set, admin tooling, growth loops, payment integration, and the polish that makes it feel like a product rather than a prototype. Twelve to twenty weeks.

03

Investor demo build

A working prototype scoped for demo purposes — real functionality, limited edge-case handling. Faster and cheaper than a full MVP. Useful for pre-seed fundraising.

N° 03Startup-specific process

Fast loops. No waste

Discovery is one week, not four. We're experienced enough to know what questions matter for a startup brief and fast enough to answer them without a prolonged workshop engagement.

Design is lean: wireframes to high-fidelity in one pass. No redundant deliverables. You approve once and we build.

Weekly demos on a staging environment. We're async by default — Slack, Loom, Notion — so you don't lose half a day to status meetings every week.

N° 04For founders

What founders tell us

We went from idea to App Store in eleven weeks. The fixed-scope model meant I knew the number on day one — no mid-project surprises, no scope negotiation.

Founder

Consumer mobile app, pre-seed

The design quality set us apart from every other deck in the room. The investors assumed we had a much larger team.

CEO

B2B SaaS, seed round

We'd tried two offshore agencies. Both delivered code I had to rewrite six months later. DesignKompanie delivered something we've been building on for two years.

CTO

Marketplace startup, Series A

Investment

Fixed scope. No drift.

Questions

The answers we give most often.

What is the minimum project size?
Our minimum is $24,000, which covers a focused MVP: core user flow, one integration, and App Store or web deployment. Investor demo builds start at $12,000.
How long does an MVP take?
Eight to twelve weeks from discovery kickoff to deployment. v1 products run twelve to twenty weeks. We don't pad timelines — if we say ten weeks, we mean ten weeks.
We have a tight fundraising deadline. Can you work to it?
Tell us the date in your brief. We scope to what's achievable by the deadline and are honest when a deadline isn't realistic. Rush projects (six weeks or under) carry a 30% premium.
What do investors actually need to see?
Working software with the core loop intact, real data if you have it, and a UI that doesn't look like a template. We build for that bar specifically.
Will the codebase scale after you hand it over?
Yes — we build with extensibility in mind from day one. The MVP is not a prototype to throw away; it's the foundation of the v1. We document the architecture and hand over the repository with full context.
Can you work with a technical co-founder who wants to stay involved?
Absolutely. We're comfortable with technical co-founders in the repo — code review, architecture input, or full collaboration. We agree on how to work together in discovery.
Do you offer equity-for-development arrangements?
No. We're a fee-for-service studio. Fixed-scope, fixed-price. It keeps the relationship clean and the incentives aligned.
How do we start?
Fill in the contact form with a brief description of the product, your target launch date, and your budget. We'll respond within two business days.
