Meta ad creative for pest control.

Pest control has a creative problem nobody wants to name: the honest product shot is repulsive. The work is finding what to show instead, without pretending the problem is pleasant.

From $500 a month

Sample Meta ad built for pest control companies - generated sample, not a client campaign

N° 01What we do

We design the ads. We don't run them.

Worth being blunt about, because almost everyone else in this market sells campaign management. Agency pricing research is candid that creative is the biggest hidden cost in those quotes — most assume the client is supplying it. That gap is what this is.

01

You keep your Ads Manager

We never ask for account access, we don't touch your budget, and we don't take a percentage of spend. You get finished creative and the source files.

02

Works with whoever runs the account

Your in-house marketer, your agency, or you. We supply the assets and the copy variants; they load them. Agencies are a normal client for this, not a conflict.

03

Every placement, sized properly

Feed, Reels, Stories — square and vertical, safe areas respected, legible without sound. A resized square is not a Reel and performs like it.

04

Copy written with the creative

Headline, primary text and description drafted alongside the image, because an ad is one object. Handing over a picture and leaving the words to someone else is how a good image ends up under a bad promise.

N° 02The pest control calendar

Four seasons, four different offers.

The most common failure in pest control advertising is one set of creative running all year. The phone does not work like that, and neither should the ads.

01

Spring

Ants and the first wave, plus annual plan sign-ups.

02

Summer

Mosquitoes and wasps — the season that sells outdoor treatment.

03

Autumn

Rodent exclusion as the weather turns and they move indoors.

04

Winter

Termite inspections and renewals, sold on structural risk not disgust.

N° 03What performs

The formats that earn their place.

01

Vertical, and the owner on camera

UGC-style 9:16 with the owner or lead tech talking to camera outperforms produced 16:9 by two to four times on click-through in this category. Meta's ranking rewards it and homeowners believe it. We cut, caption and frame it; you shoot it on a phone.

02

Before and after

The sealed entry point, the treated perimeter, the technician doing the inspection. Show the control, not the pest.

03

Click-to-call where it fits

It removes every step between the problem and the phone ringing, and it is one of the highest-converting formats in the trades. Not right for every offer — it is wrong for anything with a long consideration window — so we build both.

04

Local proof, not stock

Licensing, whether treatments are pet and child safe, and what the guarantee actually covers if they come back.

05

Readable with the sound off

Most of this is watched muted. Captions burned in, the offer legible in the first frame, and nothing important riding on audio.

06

Planned work, not emergencies

Someone with a genuine emergency is typing into Google, not scrolling a feed. Meta earns its money on planned replacement with a predictable failure timeline. Urgency creative belongs on search.

N° 04Where it lands

The jobs worth building creative for.

Recurring plans are the whole business, so the creative sells a subscription, not a one-off visit. That is a different ad and most of this category does not write it.

01

Recurring plans

02

Termite inspections

03

Rodent exclusion

04

Mosquito treatment

05

Bed bugs

06

Wildlife removal

N° 05Peek inside

One ad, every placement.

Pest control Meta ad, 4:5 portrait feed
Pest control Meta ad, 1:1 square feed
Pest control Meta ad, 9:16 Stories

The same pest control ad at 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 - feed, portrait feed and Stories, each sized properly rather than one square stretched three ways. Sample creative made to show the work: the technicians are generated and the jobs are not real, which is why nothing here is called a case study.

N° 06Investment

Every placement included. Ad spend is yours and stays yours.

4 ads a month

$500/mo

A deliberate entry rung. Enough to run one offer properly and keep it fresh, without committing to a programme before anything is proven.

  • Headline and primary-text variants for each

Most popular

8 ads a month

$850/mo

Enough creative to test two angles at once and swap before fatigue — which is the usual reason a working campaign quietly stops working.

  • Two angles running concurrently
  • Seasonal set refreshed each quarter
  • Copy variants for every ad
  • Creative swapped before fatigue, not after
  • Editable source files

So there's no confusion about what arrives.

What you get

  • Finished image files, ready to upload — you don't need Photoshop or a designer
  • Every size: square and portrait for the feed, vertical for Stories and Reels
  • The words too — headline, body text and button label written for each ad
  • Editable source files, so anything here can be changed later by anyone
  • A new set each month, so the same picture isn't running for a year

What we don’t do

  • We don't run your ads or touch your Ads Manager
  • We don't take a cut of your ad budget — you pay Meta directly, as you do now
  • We don't post to your page or reply to comments
  • No contract or lock-in; stop whenever the work stops being useful

If what you actually need is someone to run the account and reply to messages, that's a social media manager, not this. We'll say so rather than sell you the wrong thing.

N° 07Questions

The answers we give most often.

Can we do feed only, without Stories and Reels?
Yes, at about 20% less — the vertical 9:16 is a separate layout with its own safe zones rather than the square resized, so it is genuinely extra work. We would talk you out of it for the visual trades though: landscaping, roofing and remodelling before-and-afters travel further in Reels than anywhere else in Meta.
Can we buy one set rather than a monthly package?
Yes — a one-off launch set of 6 ads is $600, sized for every placement, with no commitment. It is the right first step if you have never run paid creative before. Most people move to monthly once they see how fast a small local audience tires of the same image.
Why is this more than a social media package?
Because it is a different product. Around $750 a month for twelve posts across two platforms is the going rate for organic social — a photo and a caption, posted on a schedule. These are advertising assets: built to be tested against each other, sized per placement, written headline-first, and swapped before fatigue rather than after. Published benchmarks put ad creative at $100–300 an asset; we sit at the bottom of that.
Do you run the campaigns?
No, and we would rather say that here than on a call. We design the ads and write the copy; you or your agency load them and manage the spend. If you need someone to run the account we will happily point you at people who do that properly.
What do I actually receive?
Finished ads sized for every Meta placement, headline and primary-text variants for each, click-to-call and lead-form versions where they suit the offer, and the editable source files. Nothing is locked to us.
Do you need photos of my work?
Real photos beat anything we could invent, so yes where you have them — your trucks, your team, your installs. For pest control companies, the sealed entry point, the treated perimeter, the technician doing the inspection. Show the control, not the pest. Where the shots do not exist yet we will tell you exactly what to take, and a phone is fine.
How often should creative change?
Ad fatigue is the usual reason a campaign that worked stops working, and it arrives sooner than most people expect on a tight local audience. The monthly package exists because swapping creative before performance drops is cheaper than diagnosing it afterwards.
Can you work with our agency?
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. Management agencies often quote a retainer that quietly assumes the client supplies creative. We are the part that fills that in, white-label if they prefer.
Do you do Instagram as well as Facebook?
Both, in the same set — they are not separate products. One Meta campaign distributes across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Audience Network, so every ad we deliver is sized for all of it. Anyone selling you an Instagram-only package for local lead generation is selling a narrower version of the same thing.

Running ads for pest control companies?

Tell us the offer, the service area and who runs the account. We'll come back with the angles we'd build and a fixed quote. If you don't have anyone running it yet, we'll say so rather than pretend that's us.
