Iconography
Lanterns, crescents, stars — not Eid al-Adha motifs
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. Its visual vocabulary is lanterns (the traditional Ramadan lantern carried into Eid), the crescent moon of the new month, and eight-pointed stars. We use only this vocabulary — never date palms or sacrifice imagery, which belong to Eid al-Adha.
01
Crescent and star
The most recognized Islamic motif — used tastefully, not as a cliché.
02
The Ramadan lantern
The fanous — a traditional lantern associated with Ramadan and the end of fasting.
03
Eight-pointed star (khatam)
The geometric star pattern found in Islamic architecture — present in every Eid suite we make.

Questions
The answers we give most often.
What makes an Eid al-Fitr card different from an Eid al-Adha card?
Eid al-Fitr cards use lanterns, crescent moons, and stars — the imagery of the end of Ramadan. Eid al-Adha cards use date palms and geometric medallions. We never mix the iconography.
Can the card include 'Eid al-Fitr Mubarak' in Arabic calligraphy?
Yes — it's the default salutation. We also offer 'Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum' in Arabic with transliteration.
When should I order for Eid al-Fitr?
Eid al-Fitr follows the end of Ramadan. Order at least 5 days before the expected date to receive digital files on time.
Can the card be bilingual — Arabic and English?
Yes. Bilingual layouts (Arabic right-to-left and English) are included at no extra cost.
Is there figurative imagery in any of the designs?
No. Every design uses only geometric patterns, calligraphy, lanterns, stars, and crescent moon motifs. No human or animal figures.
Can I send a bulk order for my whole family or community?
Yes — upload a CSV of recipient names. 25+ orders qualify for bulk pricing.
