Designed for children

Friendly shapes, not formal adult Eid aesthetics

Most Eid cards are designed for adults — formal geometric patterns and calligraphic text on dark backgrounds. Children's Eid cards need something different: brighter palettes, rounded shapes, a sense of celebration and joy. We design specifically for children aged 2-12, adjusting the style for the age.

01

For very young children (2-5)

Very simple motifs, maximum two colours, the child's name in very large playful lettering. Nothing complicated.

02

For school-age children (6-12)

More detail in the geometric patterns, a fuller palette, the child's name in both English and Arabic.

03

Class sets for Islamic schools

CSV upload with the class list — we generate one personalized card per student. Used by Islamic schools for Eid greetings home.

Questions

The answers we give most often.

Are these appropriate for young children?

Yes — designed for children aged 2-12. Friendly rounded shapes, bright colours, no imagery that isn't appropriate for children.

Can the card include the child's name in Arabic?

Yes. We can set the child's name in Arabic calligraphy alongside their English name.

Will the design include any figurative imagery?

No. Every design uses only geometric patterns, lanterns, stars, and crescent moons — within Islamic iconographic tradition. No human figures, no animals.

Can I order for an entire school class?

Yes — CSV upload with class list. Used by Islamic schools and Sunday madrasahs for Eid greetings to students.

Can the card say 'Eid Mubarak' in Arabic?

Yes — 'عيد مبارك' is available in a child-friendly calligraphic style, not the formal Thuluth script.

What age range is this for?

Typically 2-12, but we adjust the illustration style. A card for a 2-year-old looks different from one for a 10-year-old — tell us in the brief.
