A studio service
Mobile app pitch deck design where engagement is the argument.
For a mobile app, the product demo is easy and the retention curve is everything. Investors have watched a hundred apps with great screens and a leaky bucket. We design app decks where engagement and retention prove the product has a grip, and the monetisation model proves it's a business.

N° 01What app decks get wrong
Four ways apps lose the room.
01
Screens, no retention
Beautiful UI with no D30 retention is a portfolio, not a pitch. The retention curve is the single most important slide — lead with it.
02
Downloads as traction
Installs are a vanity metric; a downloaded app that's never opened is churn. Show activation and engaged users, not App Store numbers.
03
No monetisation model
'We'll figure out revenue later' funds nothing. Subscriptions, ads, IAP, transactions — pick the engine and show the early proof.
04
Vague virality
'It'll go viral' is a hope. Show the actual referral loop, the k-factor if you have it, and the organic-vs-paid mix.
N° 02Who this is for
Every app, every model.
01
Consumer apps
Where retention curves and engagement are the thesis. We design the metrics so investors see the grip immediately.
02
Subscription & prosumer apps
MRR, conversion to paid, and churn. Different levers, same discipline: the numbers carry the story.
03
Pre-launch & beta founders
Waitlist, beta engagement, and the insight behind the app. Decks that sell the wedge before the metrics exist.

Questions
The answers we give most often.
- What metrics do app investors want?
- Retention curves (D1/D7/D30), activation rate, engaged/daily active users, and a monetisation metric (conversion to paid, ARPU, or LTV). Downloads alone don't count.
- How do I show retention?
- A cohort retention curve by install week, flattening to a stable base. A curve that flattens above zero is the proof that you have product-market fit.
- How long should the deck be?
- 12–15 slides. Apps are easy to demo, so spend the slides on retention, engagement, and monetisation, not the UI tour.
- How much does it cost?
- Standard ($4,000) is a full custom app deck with narrative and metrics; Complete ($7,500) adds appendix cohort slides and a data-room version.
- Can you include a product/demo section?
- Yes — a tight product walkthrough tied to the metric each feature drives (activation, retention, expansion), not screens for their own sake.
