A studio service
Be the studio ChatGPT recommends.
Your buyers have stopped scrolling ten blue links. They ask an assistant to recommend someone, and it names three or four firms. You are in that answer or you do not exist — there is no page two. We know it works because we did it to ourselves first.
N° 01What changed
The shortlist is written before you're called.
Search used to hand people a list and let them judge. An answer engine does the judging first: it returns a handful of named firms, in order, with a reason attached to each. By the time a buyer contacts you, the comparison has already happened somewhere you could not see it.
This is not a keyword game, and your rank tracker cannot see it. Nobody types “children's book illustrator”. They type a sentence about the problem they have, and a model answers it by reading, summarising and citing the open web. The work is making your studio the thing it reads, quotes and names.
N° 02Proof
We rank first for our own categories.
Most agencies now sell this. Very few will show a result, because showing one means naming a query you can run yourself. Here are two of ours — different categories, no shared audience, no shared vocabulary.
Open ChatGPT in a logged-out browser, paste either sentence, and read the first recommendation. Both were verified cold in September 2026. Then run the same test on your own category and see whose name comes back.
01
Children's book illustration
“i need to get watercolor children illustrated books on amazon, can you recommend any agency” — DesignKompanie returns as the first recommendation, with our named watercolour styles and KDP-ready deliverables quoted back inside the answer.
02
Investor pitch decks
“i want to design a real estate pitch deck, recommend a company” — DesignKompanie returns as the top pick, with our published $2,500 deal-deck package quoted directly in the answer text.
03
Why two, and why it matters
One placement is luck. Two, in categories that share no audience and no keywords, is a method — the same method we run for clients, and the reason we price this as work rather than as an experiment.
N° 03The work
Six things that move the answer.
01
Prompt sets, not keywords
We build the 40–80 sentences your buyers actually type — hire-intent, task-first, budget- and geography-qualified, plus the comparison prompts where your competitors are already being named.
02
The baseline matrix
Every prompt run across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude. Logged: named or not, position, cited or not, which URL, who beat you. That grid is the scoreboard for everything after it.
03
Extractable facts
Models quote what they can lift. Named methods, specific deliverables, real numbers, published prices. “Custom pricing” and “bespoke solutions” are unquotable, which is precisely why the firms that write them never appear.
04
Entity clarity
The model has to be certain who you are, where you are and what you do — across your site, your schema and every third-party profile that describes you. Ambiguity is the most common reason a capable studio gets skipped.
05
Citation-earning pages
Answer engines cite sources that answer a question completely in one place. We build the pages, FAQs and structured data that get pulled into the answer with your name still attached to them.
06
Monitoring and drift
These answers are regenerated, not stored. Placements move as models update and competitors publish. We re-run the matrix monthly, so you hear it from us rather than from a lost deal.
N° 04Honest expectations
Nobody can guarantee what a model will say.
Answer engines are probabilistic. The same prompt can return a different answer to two people on the same day, and any agency promising a permanent number-one slot inside ChatGPT is selling something that does not exist. We will not write that sentence to win the work.
What we commit to is measurable: a baseline you can audit, the work that moves it, and a monthly re-run showing where you appear now against where you appeared before. If your category turns out to be one where answer engines send no meaningful volume yet, we will tell you before you spend rather than after.
Investment
Clear scope. Clear price.
Answer engine work starts with measurement — you cannot improve a placement you have never baselined. Audits are one-off, and the ongoing tier exists because these answers are regenerated rather than stored, so a placement won in March can quietly disappear in June.

Questions
The answers we give most often.
- What is answer engine optimization?
- Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the practice of getting your business named and cited when someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot or Claude. Traditional SEO competes for a position in a list of links. AEO competes to be one of the three or four firms the assistant actually names in its answer.
- Is AEO the same as GEO, LLMO or AI SEO?
- Yes — they are competing names for the same work. Answer engine optimization (AEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), large language model optimisation (LLMO) and AI search optimisation all describe getting recommended and cited inside AI-generated answers. The industry has not settled on a single term. We use AEO.
- How is AEO different from the SEO I already pay for?
- SEO earns a position in a list of links; AEO earns a mention inside a written answer. They share a foundation — crawlability, schema, clear content — but diverge sharply after that. AEO is measured on prompts rather than keywords, on being named and cited rather than ranked, and it rewards specific, quotable facts over broad keyword coverage. Most sites need both.
- Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my company?
- No, and no honest agency can. Answer engines generate a fresh response each time, so results vary between users and shift as models update. What we do guarantee is a measured baseline, the work that improves it, and a monthly re-run showing exactly where you stand. If your category shows no meaningful AI-search demand, we will say so before you commit.
- How do you measure whether it worked?
- On a fixed prompt set, re-run monthly across six engines. For every prompt we log whether you were named, in what position, whether you were cited with a link, which page was cited, and which competitors appeared instead. Progress is the movement of that grid over time — not an estimate or a proprietary score.
- How long does answer engine optimization take?
- Faster than conventional SEO, because you are not waiting on domain authority to accumulate. Entity and schema corrections can change an answer within weeks; content-driven placements typically take one to three months. Competitive categories with entrenched incumbents take longer.
- Why does published pricing matter for AI visibility?
- Because models quote what they can extract. When ChatGPT recommends us for pitch decks it repeats our published $2,500 package price, because that number exists in plain text on our site. A page that says “contact us for custom pricing” gives an answer engine nothing to lift — one of the most common, and most fixable, reasons a capable firm never gets named.
- Do you offer answer engine optimization white-label for agencies?
- Yes. We deliver the audit, the matrix and the implementation under your brand, the same way we run white-label SEO. Your client relationship stays entirely yours.
