A studio service
Dot-to-dot books, drawn from real pictures.
A good dot-to-dot hides its picture until the last few dots. We start from an original illustration, plot the dots so the line never crosses confusingly, and build books for young children and for adults who want hundreds of dots per page.

N° 01What goes in the book
From ten dots to a thousand.
01
First dot-to-dots
Ten to twenty large dots with big numerals, for children learning to count in order.
02
Alphabet and skip counting
Join A to Z, or count in twos, fives and tens, for early school years.
03
Detailed puzzles for older children
Fifty to a few hundred dots revealing animals, vehicles and scenes.
04
Extreme dot-to-dot for adults
Several hundred dots or more per page, with colour-coded sections so the numerals stay legible.
05
Colour-in finish
Background details already drawn, so the joined picture becomes a colouring page.
06
Solutions
A small finished image of every puzzle at the back.
N° 02The part that goes wrong
Numbers nobody can read.
01
Crowded numerals
Dots placed too close make numbers overlap. Each puzzle is checked at print size, not on screen.
02
A picture that gives itself away
If the outline is obvious from the dots alone, there is no reveal. Dot spacing is planned to hide it.
03
Crossing lines
A path that doubles back confuses young solvers. The order is plotted so the line flows.
04
Traced artwork
Puzzles traced from someone else's image are a rights problem. Ours start from illustrations made for your book.
N° 03How it runs
Plan first, artwork after.
01
1. Page plan
We agree the audience, the dot range per puzzle, the theme and the number of puzzles.
02
2. Sample pages
Two or three finished pages in the agreed look, so you approve the style and the difficulty before the rest is made.
03
3. Full interior
Every page produced to the plan, with answers or instructions where the format needs them, then one consolidated round of changes.
04
4. Cover and files
Cover design, front matter and print-ready files at your trim size, set to your printer's or platform's template.

N° 05Questions
The answers we give most often.
- How many dots suit each age?
- As a working guide, up to about 20 for preschool, up to about 100 for early primary, and several hundred for older children and adults. We confirm the range on sample pages before producing the rest.
- Do you make dot-to-dot books for adults?
- Yes. Adult puzzles use far more dots and often colour-coded number runs, and they are laid out one per page so the numerals stay readable.
- Are the puzzles made from original art?
- Yes. Each puzzle is plotted from an illustration created for your book, so there is no rights question over the picture.
- Can it be printed through Amazon KDP?
- Yes. It is a standard paperback, usually at a large trim size. We set the files to KDP's template or your printer's.
- Do I own the puzzles?
- Yes, with full commercial rights and the source files.
