Bedtime books work through rhythm. The same shape of line, page after page, slows a child down. A personalized goodnight book uses that rhythm on the child's own world: goodnight window, goodnight lamp, goodnight to the elephant with one ear, goodnight to Baba, goodnight to Mama, goodnight to the child by name.
