N° 01Where the accuracy comes from
Blueprints, not photographs
A car modelled from photographs is correct from the angle the photographs were taken. Proportions drift elsewhere, panel gaps land wrong, and anything unphotographed gets invented.
These are built from the manufacturer drawings the car was made from. It takes longer, and it is why the model holds up at angles nobody planned for.

Suspension, springs and linkages built as components. Each spring compresses through its real travel, whether or not the camera reaches it.

Doors, panels, mechanisms
Scissor doors, bonnets, boots and engine covers on their own controls, on the real hinge axes.

Every control listed with its range and what it drives, so an animator can start without reverse-engineering the file.

Advertising, visualisation, and games
A rigged, mechanically correct vehicle is the asset behind a product film, a configurator, a stakeholder presentation or a game. The same build serves all four; what changes is the export and the level of detail that survives it.
Tell us which of those it is going into before we start. It changes decisions made in week one that are expensive to unpick in week ten.

The answers we give most often.
- Which vehicles have you built?
- A Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae and a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, alongside three motorcycles. All demonstration builds, not client commissions.
- Why does building from scratch take six months to a year?
- The internal mechanism is modelled as real components rather than implied by the shell. That is the whole of the difference. If you need it faster, supply a model and we rig it in about a month.
- Do I have to supply the model?
- No. With a model we rig it — quicker and cheaper. Without one we build it from blueprints, which is the more expensive and the more accurate route.
- What do you deliver?
- The rigged .blend file and a written control scheme covering every control, its range and what it drives. If your pipeline needs something other than Blender, raise it at the briefing — some formats carry a mechanical rig across better than others.
