- How do you paint dappled light without it looking like spots?
- By reserving it rather than adding it, and by keeping the lit patches connected in one shape. The canopy exercises build up to exactly this, starting from a single lit gap.
- Are camping scenes included?
- Yes — tents, camp fires and woodland camp scenes appear in the later exercises, using the same dappled-light technique at a larger scale.
