A studio service
The financials slide numbers an investor can rebuild.
The financials slide is not there to prove the forecast is right; nobody believes a five-year forecast. It is there to show you understand what drives the business. An investor reads it for the assumptions, the path to the next milestone and whether the numbers agree with the rest of the deck.

Investment
Three ways to raise.
Fixed price, fixed scope. Pick the tier that matches your raise — from a single deal deck to a full capital-raise kit.
Essential
A sharp investor deck at the length most decks should be — you bring the content, we design it.
5–7 business days
- 12–15 designed slides
- Core investor structure (problem → ask)
- Your brand applied throughout
- Custom charts (market, traction)
- 1 revision round
- Editable PowerPoint source files
Standard
The full raise: we shape the narrative from your inputs at the length investors actually read.
Priority · 4–5 business days
- 15–20 designed slides
- We build the narrative from your inputs
- Full custom chart set
- Matching 1-page investor teaser
- 2 revision rounds
- Editable PowerPoint + source
Complete
A comprehensive deck for a detailed raise or a sales process — full appendix, plus a condensed version. Partnering and out-licensing packages are scoped separately.
Rush available
- 25–40 slides — deck + appendix
- Custom graphics & data-room slides
- Condensed sales version of the deck
- 3 revision rounds, white-glove
- 30-minute strategy call
- All source files
These are starting points for the scope listed, not a maximum. Larger or more specialised work — a full appendix set, regulated or clinical material, or a partnering package built to a conference deadline — is scoped and quoted per project.
N° 01What to show
Four things on one slide.
01
Revenue, costs and profit by year
Three years is usual, five if the business takes longer to mature. Historical years shown differently from projected ones.
02
The assumptions that drive it
Customers, price, growth rate, margin. Two or three, stated next to the chart, so the forecast can be tested.
03
Cash and runway
How long the money lasts and what milestone it reaches. This connects the financials to the ask.
04
One chart, not a table of forty cells
A simple bar chart with the key figures labelled reads in seconds. The full model belongs in the data room.
N° 02What goes wrong
Three mistakes that cost credibility.
01
A spreadsheet screenshot
Unreadable on a screen and worse on a phone. It also signals that nobody decided which numbers matter.
02
Figures that disagree with other slides
If traction shows one revenue number and financials another, the reader stops trusting both. Check every figure against the rest of the deck.
03
Growth with no explanation
A line that triples each year without a stated reason reads as a wish. Tie each jump to something specific: a launch, a hire, a contract.
Questions
The answers we give most often.
- What should the financials slide include?
- Revenue, main costs and profit or loss by year, the two or three assumptions behind them, and cash runway. One chart with labelled figures, not a full table.
- How many years should I project?
- Three is common for early-stage companies. Five is used where the business takes longer to reach scale. Whichever you choose, mark clearly which years are actual and which are projected.
- Should I show a detailed financial model?
- Not on the slide. Summarise on the slide and keep the full model ready to send when asked.
- What if we have no revenue yet?
- Show costs, runway and the milestones the round funds, and state the assumptions behind first revenue. A plain slide is better than an invented forecast.
- Where does the financials slide go?
- Near the end, after business model and traction and immediately before the ask, so the amount requested follows from the numbers.
- Do you build financial models?
- We design the slide from your figures. Model building is included only in specific packages and is otherwise quoted separately.

Want the whole deck to hold together?
One strong slide rarely rescues a deck. We design the argument end to end.
