Painted fur goes wrong in one specific way: painted hair by hair. What reads as fur is a soft mass with a few decisive marks at the silhouette — a broken edge along the back, a sharp whisker, and nothing in the middle. Every exercise here is built to break the habit of drawing with a brush.
